Boost Reference Fuel Pressure System

This fuel system converts your Cobalt or Ion from a fixed fuel pressure of 58psi to a variable pressure based on vacuum/pressure in the intake manifold. The Fuelab regulator allows you to set a base fuel pressure higher or lower than the factory and also raises and lowers pressure at a 1:1 ratio, so one psi of boost raises fuel pressure one psi. This kit includes everything to run a return fuel line from the fuel filter in the rear to the fuel pressure regulator that mounts on the fuel rail.

The factory PCM can't adjust fueling for boost pressure over 17.5 psi on the LSJ and 12 psi on the LE5. This kit will automatically adjust fuel pressure so the fuel injector settings will need to be modified in your tune.

This kit uses PTFE stainless braided fuel line with crimped on fittings. It is E85 safe and you have no worried about a hose end coming loose.
