The factory pivot cup for your shifter can wear out after years of use and will cause your shifter to become loose in the car. This part replaces the factory plastic pivot cup with a cnc machined delrin piece.

Does not fit the f23 shifter!

Much needed
Every F35 cobalt/ion needs this pivot cup, I replaced my old worn out oem one with this and couldn’t be happier with it. Got rid of shifter slop, tightened everything up, and makes shifting that much better, especially paired with OTTPs shifter.

Removed all slop from shifter - Saab 9-3 Aero
This pivot cup is much stiffer than stock and once installed, it removed all play in the shifter. All 9-3s would benefit from this - It makes a world of difference.

Great replacement part
Purchased this for my 2004 SAAB 9-3 Aero with the 6 speed transmission. Was having a shifting issues where car would struggle to go into 1st and second gear. I already rebuilt the shifter turret. So was baffled as to why I was having shifter issues. I took apart the shifter lever to find that the original plastic rubber bushing was broken. After I replaced it with this new part, I am now able to shift nicely in all gear. This was a life saver for the car. I highly recomend this fix. The replacement takes about 30 min without special tools. Very happy with this.
