We took a different approach to making a shorter throw. We have shortened the height of the shifter by over an inch from stock and we have lengthened the bottom of the shifter also. This gives us a 40% reduction in throw.
The pivot ball is tig welded to the shifter shaft for a perfect alignment. Other vendors use a set screw that comes loose. They are both made from 303 stainless steel.
Our shifter balls/knobs are weighted design and are made from 303 stainless. The locknut has been designed to be a hassle free adjustment.

Requires trimming the shifter base bottom for shifter clearance

Great quality but....
This shifter is great. Nice weight. I love the shift knob too. My only gripe tho is the are no instructions for install. I got it installed but instructions would've been a big help.

F23 Short Shifter
The shifter, cable clamp and shift knob themselves are all very nice and feel really good in my car. My only problem was with the lenghth of the screws included with the bottom clamp, they are so long that when I put my Ion into 1st 3rd or 5th they would jam on the shifter base causing me to be stuck in gear. I had to cut out a portion of my shifter base to remedy this. Tl:Dr Shifter feels good, but you might have to modify the shifter base to make it work without issue.
